​This project has helped me think about my academic work and its connections to my future career plans in an entirely new way. Transforming texts and creating new ones challenged me to write and create in ways that were unfamiliar. As I look back on this project, however, I find that my reflection continually points to the future. Reflection isn't dwelling in the past--like Yancey compellingly argues, reflection is what allows an interplay of theory and praxis. I know that reflection will help me become a more responsive, thoughtful educator and individual.
